Referrals
Back on Track Pathways welcomes referrals from schools, local authorities, and professionals seeking specialist 1:1 support for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education.
An initial discussion is encouraged to determine suitability and ensure the provision aligns with the pupil’s needs and intended outcomes.

• Local Authorities and SEN teams
• Inclusion services
• Alternative provision coordinators
• Other professionals working with the child
• Parents (private placements where appropriate)
Information Helpful at Initial Enquiry Stage
Detailed paperwork is not required for an initial conversation. However, the following information can help determine suitability:
• Age and current educational status
• Main barriers to learning or attendance
• Relevant needs (e.g. EBSA, SEMH, EHCP)
• Current support arrangements
• Desired outcomes
• Funding route (if known)
Sensitive or confidential information should only be shared securely where appropriate.
