For Parents  Private Support

If your child is finding life difficult — whether due to anxiety, low confidence, school worries, or emotional challenges — individual support may help them feel calmer, more capable, and better able to cope.

Back on Track Pathways offers personalised 1:1 support designed to rebuild confidence, resilience, and emotional stability in a safe, supportive environment.

Is This Support Right for My Child?

Private support may be helpful if your child:

• Is anxious about school or reluctant to attend
• Has low confidence or self-esteem
• Feels overwhelmed or stressed
• Is withdrawing from activities or friendships
• Struggles to cope with change or transitions
• Needs support while waiting for other services
• Would benefit from individual attention outside school

If you are unsure, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss your child’s situation.

What Makes This Support Different

Many children struggle in traditional settings where they feel pressured or judged. Sessions are designed to feel calm, practical, and engaging rather than formal or clinical.

Support focuses on helping children:

• Feel safe and understood
• Build confidence and self-belief
• Develop coping strategies
• Improve resilience and independence
• Regain motivation and hope

This is not tutoring or therapy, but personalised support aimed at helping your child move forward positively.

How Sessions Work

Support is delivered on a 1:1 basis and tailored to your child’s needs. Sessions may include conversation, practical activities, and goal-based tasks designed to build confidence and engagement.

Many children respond particularly well to activity-based approaches that reduce pressure and allow them to open up naturally.

Sessions are typically delivered in person in Lymington, with online options available where appropriate.

Working with Families

Parents are kept informed as appropriate, with the aim of supporting positive change beyond the sessions themselves. The focus is on helping your child feel more confident and capable both at home and in everyday life.

(After hating junior school for years) he's also joined a football team that he would never do before from doubting himself so much!
